How to set portfolio to show pages instead of posts?

   Is there any way that on the portfolio page I could display pages instead of posts? The portfolio will be used to list our services (which are organised as pages). So I could define at portfolio page to list certain subpages. Or at least that it would be possible to input custom urls instead of image view and post link.

   I know that its possible to get around this and list pages with column shortcodes but this takes manual adjusting each time I add new pages and this way the CMS idea is lost...

   Hello ratluk,

   To get this functionality would require quite a bit of customization. It would be best to hire a freelancer to get this take care of for you.

   jobs.wordpress.net or the forums on themeforest.net are good places to look.

   I too would appreciate if a portfolio could reference pages. With all the wonderful features your product includes, it seems like a no-brainer to me... that it could be customizeable just like a regular WordPress menu...

   Well, there's not much difference between a page and a post besides the name. Anything that you can do with our posts you can do with our pages.

   Pages are meant to be static so if you need them to display in a blog page for example then you should really be making posts instead.

   Are you looking for an easy way to list your pages? I would try our sitemap template out, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php?title=Page_Templates.
