    I would like to decrease the amount of space in the footer, where exactly do I go to change this? I would like the space to be somewhat even above and after where the text is, if you look at the picture below, there seems to be a lot of extra space under the text. I would like to decrease it a bit so it will look a bit more even with the top.

    Hello webzo,

    You will need to shave some padding off of the #footer class like this..

    #footer, #footer .inner { padding-bottom: 0px !important; }

    Let us know if this helps.

  3. Hey Elliot,

    I actually tried to do the same thing but couldn't make anything happen until I edited line 740:

    .widget{padding:0 0 40px 0;overflow:hidden;}

    I changed it to:
    .widget{padding:0 0 0px 0;overflow:hidden;}

    It closed the gap by 40px (shocker right) which is much better then it was but if I could close it up a little more would be perfect... Any thoughts?

    Hey digitalreaction and webzo,

    Go ahead and send us a link to your page so we can take a closer look. We can set a static height to your footer to shorten it but then it will not expand when your widgets get longer, instead it would be best to see what widgets you have set and try and shorten them.

    You might be able to shorten it a little more by adding this line..

    #footer .one_half, #footer .one_third, #footer .two_third, #footer .three_fourth, #footer .one_fourth { margin-bottom: 0px !important }

    Also, you can try this but I do not recommend it..

    #footer .inner { height: 300px !important; }

    Hi Elliot,

    I am trying to decrease the spacing on the bottom of the footer outro text on each page.

    From the above and previous help you have given me I tried to come up with code but this doesn't work:
    .is_home #footer_outro_text { padding-bottom: 0px !important; }

    Can you advise a better code to add t my custom CSS?

    Thanks again.

    Your using an H6 there so try using inline styling to remove the bottom margin,

    <h6 style = "margin-bottom:0px;">Text</h6>
