How do I remove widget areas from the footer?

   How can I adjust the 1 e 2 coluns and the 4 .
   I donwload the [zip] footer_(4cols).zip (0.9 KB, 29 downloads) 6 months old
   And how can i translate the " Popular Posts"

   Hello Lauromartins,

   Open up /wp-content/themes/infocus/lib/functions/widgets.php and on line 122 you should see this,

   echo $args['before_title'] .'Popular Posts'. $args['after_title'];

   You can translate the title there.

   As for the footer widgets, are you trying to manually set the widths?

   No i just use the last zip that show there

   Open up your footer.php file and on line 11 you should see this,

   <div class="one_fourth">

   You can set the width like so,

   <div class="one_fourth" style = "width: 200px;">

   If you increase / decrease the width of one area you need to compensate for the others or they will run on the next line.

   It would be better to just use our column classes there. Let us know exactly how you would like to customize the footer widgets and we can give you some more detailed instructions.
