Help updating theme - home page content disappeared

   Hi,

   I was recently working on my site when for some reason the custom home text disappeared. After doing some googling I think it may be because I am using an older version of wordpress, however it was working after I updated wordpress so perhaps it was caused by one the addons I updated?

   My question is how do I update to the latest version without losing everything?

   It appears to be the visual editor on 'Custom Homepage Text' in the settings panel.
   It has disappeared.
   Maybe a .js issue? which one?

   Thanks, worked for me. For anyone who lost their home page content, you should be able to get it from the cached version of your site.
