Gallery Image Size

    When I click on the image it looks perfect in the pop-out box. The question I have is can I change the dimensions of the image in the gallery? As you can see here I formatted one pic but the other is raw. I'd like to have a portrait dimension of 2x3 rather than a landscape which is the current default.

    Also the full size image is being pulled into the post and is way off. How can I fix that?

    Thanks for the wonderful support you bring to this theme.

    I'm having a difficult time with this one. I changed all the dimensions and it still looks wonky.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Looks like you did it correctly abcoon. You also need to edit this image..

    http://www.wrlp.net/wp-content/themes/infocus/images/zoom_small.png

    Or just delete it in case you do not wish to edit. You also might want to add a margin-bottom to your images so the text does not run up against it.

    Elliott, you are a true gentleman and a scholar, thanks for all the help.

    I edited the image and not sure where to add the margin-bottom.

    It looks like I'm missing another edit or code to make it right.

    Open up /wp-content/themes/infocus/style.css and add this..

    .rollover { height: 100px !important; width: 100px !important; }
    .portfolio_img_holder { margin-bottom: 50px !important; }

    Make sure to change the width and height to what you have changed the images too. I apologize if this wasn't in the instructions.

    Try this one abcoon,

    I put the styles at the very top so you can see them.

    Hey Elliott,

    I'm back and really in need of help. I tried each of those steps and can't get the gallery back to where I had it before. We had to re-upload the theme and it set everything back to the defaults.

    I'm so sorry to bug you about this again.

    Hello abcoon, it's been a while.

    It looks like your images are not being resized. Did you make sure to update the values in /wp-content/themes/infocus/lib/includes/template-portfolio-gallery.php on lines 202 - 207?

    if($portfolio_gallery){
    	$gallery_image_url = webtreats_image_resize($height='151',$width='276',$portfolio_gallery);
    }else{
    	$gallery_image_url = webtreats_image_resize($height='151',$width='276',$portfolio_full);
    }
    ?>

    Awesome! Next thing in the http://www.wrlp.net/about/board-members/ if you click on the pic it freezes and the loading circle gets stuck. What is causing that?

    Last thing I think. Before I disabled the image and the big picture was not there. The disable image is on and two images are showing the big image and the smaller one....would like to keep the smaller one and hide the big image. http://www.wrlp.net/2010/10/14/bernita-simms/

    Thanks for all your help

    You will need to update prettyPhoto. You can find instructions on this thread, http://mysitemyway.com/support/topic/infocus-and-wordpress-31.

    As for your post image it looks like it has been customized a bit but I think what you are looking for is in /wp-content/themes/infocus/lib/includes/template-portfolio-single.php on lines 171 - 176.

    Let us know if that is what you were looking for abcoon.

    Great! fixed the first issue.

    What am I looking to do in lines 171 - 176?

    I want to disable the larger image

    http://www.wrlp.net/2010/10/14/bernita-simms/

    Thanks for all the help Elliott.

    UPDATE---

    I commented out that code and it seemed to fix it. You are the best support, I will always suggest your templates clean and cool and fantastic support.

    Thanks Elliott

    You would want to comment out or delete those lines to get rid of the fullsize image. Or you can use a custom field solution to disable the image on a post by post basis. See the bottom of this thread, http://mysitemyway.com/support/topic/3-column-portfolio-does-not-work-with-square-or-vertical-images, for more details.

    Let us know if you need anything else abcoon.
