I am having trouble with a few of my galleries, I can seem to size the gallery images correctly. Is there a method to have images automatically resize based on the image preview selected?

Hello mikepallas,
What you can do here is create thumbnails of those images and put their URL inside the "Portfolio Gallery Image" field (when editing your post). This way your cropped thumbnails will load in the gallery page and your fullsize image will still display inside prettyPhoto and on the post.
Go ahead and try this out and let us know if it works for you mikepallas.

I hate to sound like an amateur but I do not see how to create a thumbnail when uploading media. It uploads it using the original dimensions, is there a thumbnail auto resize option that i'm not seeing?
Thanks!

When using the Full Cropped setting your image will be automatically resized. For the Staged and Full settings you will need to crop your image before uploading.
We can also try setting the stage and full settings to automatically resize your images if that sounds like something you would like.

Elliott, I don't see a full cropped setting. Is there possible a media plug in that should have been installed with the theme?

I'm sorry mikepallas, there were two threads that sounded exactly alike and I got confused.
Your portfolio resizes your fullsize images to fit inside the area. The aspect ratio is not always the same as your images so it will cut off certain parts. To get past this you can crop your photo to create a thumbnail and then upload this thumbnail to your server.
I attached an image so you can see how to display your thumbnail in the gallery.

Elliott, thank you that workked well!
One more question for you; how do I change the order of the photos in the gallery?

Hello mikepallas,
You can order them by title or date. See this thread for more info, http://mysitemyway.com/support/topic/portfolio-display-order#post-5137.
