Galleries and Nested Galleries

   what functions does the theme have for showing galleries and nested galleries but not children/grandchildren of particular galleries?

   For example, if I use portfolio 4 to list all posts/galleries that are all in the category “landscape”, will it also show the ‘children’ posts/galleries of “landscape”?

   Let’s say there are 4 sub categories of “landscape” such as: polar, desert, forest, tundra; how do I keep those posts/galleries from appearing in the portfolio 4 list of “landscape” and only have the 4 children appear, no grandchildren?

   Hello anonymous,

   There is no need to create children categories with the portfolios as they are a custom post type. It's not going to display in your archives.
