Hi! I just installed the myriad theme fresh (version 2.4) and the buttons for search and the control to drop down the upper menu (I don't know how you call it) don't show in the upper right corner (as it appears on your demo in the... header?). I searched all controls in the backend admin, but just haven't found where to activate them. (On the other hand, there is a page on your website where it states that they should be visible by default).

I also bought the myriad theme partly because I saw it is compatible with the WPML multi-language plugin. I would like to know if and how I could put the language switcher also in the upper right corner (header) as well with the search box and the upper menu control. Just searched your site as well as the WPML website, but found no info (besides, the header doesn't show as stated above).

Thank you in advanced for your help!

Is the footer widgets set to display? http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php?title=Footer

Also make sure you have some footer widgets set. In Myriad that dropdown arrow is actually your footer.

Oh... didn't know the "upper menu" was a footer. Now that I set the footer widgets to display, the search icon and the dropdown arrow appeared. Thanks! Is there a section in the theme's code were I could insert other icons to display there? That would be a great and very visible spot to show the language switcher (wpml) along with some social media icons as it is in other themes' headers.

It should be in the footer.php file.

You could also do either of these to add a widget area to that area.

Thanks for your reply. What I meant was if it is possible to put a button (or in this case the language switcher) between the search button and the down pointing arrow (that drops down the "upper footer") in the right upper corner and where would be that place in the code to insert.
