    ternece123,

    Before guiding you further, let's make sure I got it right.

    So, you have 4 columns, and you'd like the third one to be a bit larger. This is what you'd like to achieve?

    Let me know and I'll assist you further with this.

  5. Yes ! i have attached an image for reference. I am trying to have a workaround by selecting 3 column, making first footer widget divided into two column (using shortcode) but looks like margins in between are messing it up.

    Please have a look at the attached image .. i am trying to achive that ...

    terence123,

    Sorry for the delay, I've been away for the past couple of days! Sorry once again!

    I see that the third column is already larger than it should. Have you found a solution for this? Just let me know so I can guide you.

    Cheers,
    Dorian

    I myself wonder, too, where to add the twitter stream to the footer like in the demo theme

    http://themes.mysitemyway.com/awake/

    In theme settings - see screenshot attached - is only the field to add "Footer Teaser Text", but no twitter name for getting the twitter stream there.

    Any idea?
    Thanks a lot.

    Hello colorit,

    Where you see the Footer Teaser Text field, simply enter [twitter] and click save. This should do the trick!

    Thanks, but it shows more than 1 last twitter post.
    Where can I limit it to just one?

    Hi again colorit,

    My fault! Use [twitter count=1] to display only one.

  11. Is there a way to put PHP code into the footer section, perhaps via a shortcode? The plugin I have, but it yields no results. Would be nice if that worked.

    IGNORE! Created my own PHP shortcode widget. :)

    I am trying to place a full width banner type image to replace the widgets in the grey footer section and am totally stuck. Can anyone help me out?

    I'm editing the steelblue.css file but not 100% sure this is the right place.

    Hello letlease,

    What you can do here is insert your banner image in the text widget. You can select a footer layout where one widget takes up the whole space in Dashboard -> your theme -> Footer.

    Let us know if that works for you okay.

    that worked very well thank you.

    Can I ask why I can't get the banner to go central? If I use 2x <p> tags it moves the banner down from the edge a little then if I use 6x <p> tags it moves no more. Is there a padding setting that I can set to make my banner central vertically?

    You can surround your banner with a div and position the div like so,

    <div style = 'position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px;'>

    banner code

    </div>

    And then play around with the top and left values.
