    Hi there!

    How do I change font TYPE of the slideshow... without affecting everything else...
    by CSS? if so, could you please help me with a CSS for it? The font I want and the one I loaded is called "Yanone Kaffeesatz" and that's the one I have for my main menu ... possible?

    Add this to your custom CSS,

    .slide_content { font-family: verdana !important; }

    I just tried with verdana ... and it doesn't work anyways....
    I tried this: .slide_content { font-family: verdana !important; }
    Did not work...

    In another post you gave me a CSS for something else and its' not working either... you think something is wrong with my CSS ..stuck? I'm going to ELEGANCE on Dashboard - General settings - posting on the box where it says CUSTOM CSS . I have other Custom CSS there and they work... but not this one ... or the other one you gave me:

    .sub-menu a { font-size: 12px !important; color: red !important; }
    .sub-menu { background: blue !important; }

    NONE of those work...

    Any ideas?

    Edit your skin and switch the body text back to a websafe font instead of Cufon.

    Aloha Elliot,

    Question: Are you telling me that in order to change the font type of my SLIDESHOW - I have to "edit the skin and switch the BODY text back to a websafe font?

    is it a requirement?

    I don't like any of the web safe fonts...

    I want to be able to change the font type of the SLIDESHOW ONLY ...Can you help with that without me altering the BODY text of my pages, etc.

    I know this is an old thread but since we have all apparently been dumped, I thought I would post my solution to this issue. I didn't bother with title and description text. I created new slider images and then added the text I wanted right on to the image itself which is transparent, using my image editing program. Hope this helps somebody.
