FLV in Homepage Slider?

   Hi guys,
   If I use the option to create slideshow slide from a specific blog category, is there still a way to add video to the slider? Also, can I use a local file, or does it have to be Youtube/Vimeo? If I can, what are compatible formats? I looked in the documentation but it only talks about Youtube and Vimeo using the admin panel method.

   Hello docholoday,

   Only vimeo / youtube is supported. You can try using a plugin to embed your own within the "Full + Raw HTML" stage setting. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/jw-player-plugin-for-wordpress/.

   Ah, gotcha. Ok. I can probably just post it to Vimeo. If I do, would I just use the Vimeo link as the "Home Page Slider Image"?

   Yes just copy the URL in your browser address and paste into the field.
