Feature Request with Awake

   First of all, I love your new template Awake. It is so feature rich, which I love. I was hoping that I might make a couple of suggestions in case you plan to do some future updates. These are simply requests, not demands, but I think it would be awesome.

   Posts: Instead of having a site wide setting check box for disabling the following features (related & popular post module, social bookmarks, and about author box). It would be so helpful to have that setting check box also customizable per post. This would go along well with the galleries/portfolios so that those posts don't require those features if you wish to have them in the blog section.

   Another feature would be to enable gallery/portfolios within a post as well as a page. This could allow a Portfolio of portfolios. Great for tiered portfolios.

   This may be a bit out there for a request, but it would be so great to incorporate a plugin such as wp e-commerce.

   The particular suggestion I have in mind is to create a short-code to add the shopping cart function to the posts so that the posts become a product page. With your layout shortcodes, these product pages would become out of this world

   Elliot,

   Thank you for your comment. What would be the possibility of creating a workaround to accomplish the first request for disabling the general settings for the posts on a per-post option?

   The others are less of a critical fix as I can create a work around to accomplish what I need to.

   kibourne,

   I cannot say if these requests will be included in the next update or not but for now as a workaround you could try using shorcodes.

   First disable all of those options you mentioned and when you create a post try adding these to the end.

   Sample post content
   
   <a href="#" class="share_this_post"></a>
   
   [popular_posts count=3 thumbnail=true]
   [recent_comments count=3 thumbnail=true]

   The link is for the social icons and the next two shortcodes are for popular posts and recent comments.

   If you need some custom shortcodes then let me know and I will see what I can do.

    A little event calendar with the option for a full size template to show the whole calendar and the option to link to a post or not.

    For the next release I would like to see the posts (on the categories/blog pages), styled like the color box. This would be useful for people using the boxes to complete the overall look.

    I'm using Awake for a retail site and would love to see a product page with gallery photos and fields (customizable) for pricing, ID numbers etc. Although I'm not using a shopping cart system, it might be nice if it was also available as an option.
