    Hi Ho,
these Shortcodes do not work with my installation.

    [fancy_images height=120 width=190]
    http://www.domain.com/bilder/event/pic-7.jpg
    [/fancy_images]

i tried all different ways of "full-link-to-the-picture", nothing worked.
I i try with http the whole content of the page is gone.
if i try without http nothing shows up.
Even versions started from docroot didnt work.

so...how i have to notice the path to the picture in this shortcode?
    regards axel

    Hi Axel,

The images' link must be on the same domain as the website, then you should enter the full link to the image. Also, please make sure you have typed it into the HTML editor instead of the Visual one.

Let me know if these hints worked for you, otherwise please hand me over a link to your website so I can see what's wrong in there (if you don't want to make it public, just drop me a private message)

    Cheers,
    Dorian

    Hi Dorian,
the pics are on the same domain and i typed it in html mode.
    Full link means what ?..
    with http?

    The Link is http://www.axellauer.de/shortcodes/
The site is a Mix between Awake & another Theme which is, as far as i remember, from another developer.
I hope its not a problem for you.
    regards axel

    EDIT:
thats what i typed in html-editor for a test

    [fancy_images]
    http://www.axellauer.de/bilder/event/karneval-7.jpg
    [/fancy_images]

    [fancy_images height=120 width=190]
    bilder/event/karneval-7.jpg
    axellauer.de/bilder/event/karneval-7.jpg
    [/fancy_images]

    Nothing shows up.
Not in the browser and not in the HTML.

    Axel,

Is the spinning circle appearing instead of the image, or nothing at all?

    Hi Dorian,
    exactly Nothing!
    Even not in Source-Code.

The Picture should show up on the bottom of this page: http://www.axellauer.de/shortcodes/ under the last download link.

The shortcode is registered in shortcode.php and the CSS is set.

Just to make sure that its not a conflict with something that doesnt belong to !Awake" i just set up the fresh version of Awake on a subdomain which i use for testing stuff.
And there its exactly the same issue.

The picture does not show up

    Axel,

May I see the fresh install of Awake with the shortcode in action? The link to the page should do.

    strange, they show up.
    My own one doesnt.
here are the shortcodes i used:
    [tooltip trigger='<img class="framed" src="http://themes.mysitemyway.com/awake/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Untitled-4.jpg" alt="" />']Tooltip Content[/tooltip]
    [tooltip trigger='<img class="framed" src="http://themes.mysitemyway.com/awake/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Untitled-3.jpg" alt="" />']Tooltip Content[/tooltip]
    [tooltip trigger='<img class="framed" src="http://themes.mysitemyway.com/awake/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Untitled-2.jpg" alt="" />']Tooltip Content[/tooltip]

    [fancy_images height="200" width="188"]achermann.agentur-mai.de/bilder/beauty/beauty-8.jpg[/fancy_images]

OK, if i use the link with an http:// it works.
But if i use the same Shortcode-Syntax (with http://) on the other site (axellauer.de) it breaks the whole page.
I controlled the code in shortcode.php and ist the same.

    I dont get it. :-(

    Hi bydlo2,

Whoever tweaked the theme, he didn't do it the right way, that's for sure. It should have been working fine, but I guess there are some missing functinos here and there.

As long as there is nothing showing up, there is something wrong. Let me have your FTP login information and I'll take a look at this.

    Hi Dorian,
thanx for your offer but i think this exceeds the limit of support.
i tweaked it myself and the only thing i did was taking the code which registers the function (shortcode.php) and transfered it into the shortcode.php of the other theme.
Then i did the stylings in CSS.

I made this with several other functions and this is the first time it went wrong.

Maybe you can tell me if there are some more files involved with this function.
    Is it more than shortcode.php & style.css?
As far as i see there is no JS file needed with [fancy_images].
    Is that right?

Or is there a a opportunity to hire one of your team to get 2 or 3 functions integrated in my site?
If yes i would aprecciate it if you could contact me and let me know your conditions.

And for now i have to say "Good Night" & thanx for your help
    regards axel
