    Dear Elliott,

I have an issue with the loading of the fancy-images thumbs. It takes ages.
After changing it according to this post: http://mysitemyway.com/support/topic/thumbs-drawing-slow#post-42920 which din´t solve the loading-time, I re-changed 14-blog.php but the wheels are nor showing up.
How do I get the wheels back and speed up the loading-time.

Here you can see what I mean: http://diekomplementaermediziner.de/?page_id=62

Would be great if you could help.

    Cheers,

    Patrick

    Hello scrambler77,

They are loading fine on my end but it looks like you took the preloader off for the fancy_images, I recommend putting that back on.

It also looks like you have quite a few external scripts loading so I would try deactivating some plugins to speed up the loading process.

The preloader?! I don´t think that I did deactivate that? Did I? How can I change that back to normal, please help me?
I have activated 'WP google fonts', "Basic Google Maps Placemarks", "Enable Media Replace", that´s it. Any idea what could be the reason for that?
    Thanx for your help.

    Checked /wp-content/themes/[your_theme]/lib/shortcodes/14-blog.php, line 355.

    'preload' => true,

I´ve changed it once, but reset it. Is there need to change something else to activate the preloader again?

    Happy new year Elliott!

Forget the task. I reactivated the preloader for the images and replaced the fancy-images in the footer with a simple jpg. Now it works.

    Concerning the language:

I want to change some of the blog-nomenclature:

'posted on' (floating on the blog-images)
    'popular posts'

And the search-result-text after submitting a search:

    'Search results for' xx

I don´t want to use a plugin. Where do I find these texts to exchange them into another language?
Would, be great if you could help. Thanx!
