Fancy Images In Sidebar

resolved (6 posts) (2 voices)

  1. I'm attempting to use the Fancy Images shortcode in a widget on my sidebar.
    But all I get is the preloader animation. The images themselves never show up.
    The links work fine and loads in prettyPhoto, but the images themselves never appear in the sidebar. What could be causing that? I've deactivated all my plugins, and there was no change.

    Hello IamMarix,

    You'll need to take off the preloader for the fancy_images.

    Open up /wp-content/themes/[your_theme]/lib/shortcodes/18-images.php and switch lines 108 and 147 from this,

    'preload' => true

    To this,

    'preload' => false

  3. What if I only want the preloader off for just the sidebar, but to still work for other fancy images?

    You can try switching it to this,

    'preload' => $preload,

    And then add it in your shortcode,

    [fancy_images preload = "false"]

  5. I tried both ways (the former after the latter did not work) and neither worked.

  6. I lied. It's working now.

    Thanks!
