Fancy Gallery Loading Issue

Hi guys,

it seems to be a never ending story for me with fancy images and prettyphoto:

After updating Awake 1.2 the into the blurb fancy gallery is not loading the full preview.
Same issue with implemented fancy gallery in the post.

Only the first images will be loading to full preview. After that an error message: invalide path.

But the images are all handled with valide path to the mediathek.

Image name only containing numbers, no signs.

We haven't made any changes to Awake in the update the would affect the intro blurb or the [fancy_images] shortcode.

It appears that the [fancy_images] shortcode is begin wrapped in the following Div on your site:
<div id="_mcePaste">
You can read more about this here:

I believe this is interfering with the preloading of the fancy_images.

Try pasting in your [fancy_images] shortcode in the HTML view of you content editor and see if it resolves this.

It do not solve the problem.

It seems the script do not attach the images. If the first image is in full preview the navigation (next..) is missing. If I am calling the second image in a fancy gallery the navigation (next/prev) is missing. If you click to this images you will redirect to the 404 error page.

Hi goldeneye,

Replace the following file on your server with the one attached to the .zip at the bottom of this post:

wp-content/themes/awake/lib/functions/shortcode.php

Let us know if it resolves this.

Hi Webtreats,

I don't have this issue as I don't use the introblurb for this. Should I still load the new shortcodes for future? Will it do any harm if I do?

Hi jayce103,

You won't do any harm if you replace this file with the one on your server, it will be included in the next update to the theme.

@sjforster, I checked your page but your galleria appeared to be working fine. Was there something else you were having issues with?

@mow1, This would take a long time to customize and so it would be best to hire a freelancer to get this taken care of for you. There are quite a few gallery scripts on the internet so you might find something you like as an alternative.

I'm having problems with the gallery too. I have replaced the shortcode.php file, but there is no change. Its just stuck on the loading image... Example here (bottom of the page) http://www.raffeys.co.za/products-and-prices/feeding-guidelines. (I'm using Awake version 1.3)

Hi,

That problem is caused because you need to update prettyPhoto to the latest version.

Download the latest version of prettyPhoto, http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/, make sure to select the "Production Version".

Then, create a new folder called "prettyPhoto" and extract the files from the downloaded zip into your new folder. Next upload this folder to the /wp-content/themes/awake/lib/scripts/ directory.

Please pay attention and replace the old files with these new ones. They have to be named exactly as the old ones.
