My shiny new WP 3.3 tells me on my Dashboard > Updates that there is a new version of Fusion.
    >> There is a new version of Fusion available. View version 3.1 details or update automatically.

I upgraded it and it installed some completely different theme - not MySiteMyWay Fusion.

I reverted back to MSMW Fusion, but I just thought you should know... and maybe fix it for others??

It links to http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/fusion?TB_iframe=true&width=1024&height=800 I am guessing it is due to a name conflict.

It would be nice if people didn't post in the Announcements forum, I have been looking there for updates about 3.3 and its full of nothing but question about themes.

    Hello everyone,

Yes it's a naming conflict, we are still deciding on what to do there.

We'll be taking a look at 3.3 quick fixes today and we'll have them all included in the next update which should be here soon.

last two weeks I have been updating all my fusion themes. All were replaced by the fusion wrong fusion theme... so all designs are ruined. This should have been adressed 3 years ago.

Nice to know it's just a naming conflict however. I was worried that the site had been hacked… but yes, a huge pain.

Any fix in the works? It's been 3 years now since Elliot's post…

If you've performed a "false update" (as I did, and others have done because this still hasn't been fixed after two years) here's the procedure that worked for me...

    1. Download the latest release from MSMW

    2. DELETE the updated theme - meaning the WRONG one that was installed when you updated - from within WordPress

    3. Upload the downloaded zip from within WordPress

Your previous MSMW theme settings (which were saved to the db) should be back. Obviously if you did any theme customization (without a child theme) then those are lost.

Hopefully this will help someone out there until the problem is fixed by MSMW - which given the history of this post doesn't seem to be very soon, or very likely...
