Elegance Style Sheet

  1. Dear Support,

    I currently have an elegance style which seems to be having some problems in displaying the background image.

    On my homepage everything seems to be working great, however all other pages the background image doesn't seem to be loading.

    Home link:

    Page link:

    I have tried adding the link to the background image directly into the stylesheet like so;

    /*:Body ~*~*/
    body{/*:Body BG+ */
    background-image:url(http://odysseyisc.com/files/2015/01/odyssey-grunge_fullbg-1024x640.png);/*background-color:inherit@;*/background-repeat:repeat-x;background-attachment:scroll;background-position:center top;}
    body{/*:Body Top Border */
    /*:Body End ~*~*/

    The background image url used to be:

    However by adding the full url, it is displayed at the top of the page (Screenshot attached).

    My questions are;

    1) How to fix the background image (my solution works but the top of the page shows the url)
    2) How to remove the URL from the top of the page, if i do add the full url of the background image?

    Many thanks for your help and support.

    Hello LDiMarketing,

    I'm seeing the second URL being used which is giving me a 404. If you use the first URL it should work.

  4. I'm sorry I don't understand.

    Which URL are you referring to?

    Also, if I manually set the URL for the background image, the url is then displayed at the top of my pages (see screenshot attached).

  5. Hi Ldi...,

    Just came by your issue. I have tried the http://odysseyisc.com/blog-2/ and do not see the url displayed. However I have had the same issue. It was due to one of my chache plugins.

  6. Hi @Act2Change currently the URL is not displayed as I have removed that specific background URL.

    If I do change the URL (where the background images does work) the url is the shown.

    There is no Cache plugin installed on this site.

    If I do change the URL in the code to show the background image, the background image is shown, but so is the URL at the top of my site with the full server path, which I definitely don't want.

    Does anyone have any solutions?
