Editing footer and header content with php/html

  1. Hi, I'm trying to edit the header and footer content through the PHP and HTML code but I'm having a hard time finding these functions...could someone help with with the file path to find and edit the functions 'mysite_footer' and 'mysite_after_footer_inner'? I made a new landing page template that I wanted the header and footer to be different from the rest of the site, so I'm creating my own header and footer but I can't seem to find the content. Thanks!

    FYI: MSMW support has not responded for almost a year. I am just another client lending a helping hand to other clients.

    Are you sure you need to modify the php to accomplish your objective. I always go to CSS first.

    The following code adds a custom class to the body of each page based on role. You could easily adjust it to add a custom class based on page title or slug. You could then use css in the MSMW admin panel to show / hide / adjust headers and footers on a page basis.

    NOTE: You can already do this if you are only altering the home page by referencing .is_home #content { } in your css.

    function role_admin_body_class( $classes ) {
    global $wpdb, $current_user;

    if (is_super_admin()) {
    $classes .= 'superadmin';
    } else {
    foreach( $current_user->roles as $role ) {
    $classes .= ' role-' . $role;

    return trim( $classes );

    add_filter( 'admin_body_class', 'role_admin_body_class', 50 );

    If you still want to alter php see:
