    Hi Guys

    Im new to this forum (and what a forum it really is!). Busy on AWAKE HTML, and wondered if anyone could help with a few issues I'm having..

    1. Can I leave a 10pixel gap at both top/bottom of logo/header, in order to push the whole content down a fraction?

    2. i'm using the fading slider, with a recently downloaded template. Can I
    a) decease the loading time
    b) change the tab (circle radio) buttons under the slider from white/grey to purple when clicked.

    3. In the gradient (gold) box (http://maz.onlineasbestosawareness.co.uk/) on the slider, I would like to change/edit the change colour for the title, and perhaps increase font for SOME of the slides. However, whenever I do this, it changes every slide? Is there a sway around this, so I can change some sliders without it affecting the whole slider

    MANY MANY thanks for taking the time to read, and thanks in advance to those reply.

    Regards
    Dave

    Hello DaveRoseberry,

    1. See here for increasing the header height, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php/Customizing_the_Header.

    2. You can try taking the preloader off but it would look weird. You can find the nav dots in /wp-content/themes/[your_theme]/styles/_shared/.

    3. You'll need to leave the title blank and then insert a heading and use inline styling to the slide description,

    <h2 style = "color: red;">Title</h2>

    Hi Elliott.

    @Rochester...

    My issues are with the AWAKE HMTL template to which I referred to in the initial post. Elliott kindly offered support for the issues based on the WordPress Template which is no use to me.

    If you can assist in regards to the HTML/CSS that would be great!

    Hi Elliott.

    I've managed to do change radio button colour which was the main so thanks for that.

    Finally, I need to reduce the gap at the bottom, just under the 4 boxes - perhaps just by half? any ideas?

    Add this to your CSS,

    #footer .inner { padding-top: 0px !important; }

    And send us a link to the page with the form.

    http://maz.onlineasbestosawareness.co.uk/ is site
    and
    http://maz.onlineasbestosawareness.co.uk/booking.html is the booking page (not linked yet to home page)

    like I say, it seems to send, but then we receive nothing via email

    It seems to be sending okay. You have added a lot of various fields, did you edit the contact.php file?

    Check your server error logs for any information that might be popping up and check with your hosting provider to see if email is working fine.

    this is the error log message?

    [15-Dec-2012 23:39:56] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '=' in /home/cityofad/public_html/maz/php/submit.php on line 22
    [15-Dec-2012 23:41:44] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '=' in /home/cityofad/public_html/maz/php/submit.php on line 22
    [15-Dec-2012 23:42:51] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '=' in /home/cityofad/public_html/maz/php/submit.php on line 22

    and this is line 22

    if(trim($_POST['email']) === '') {

    We added more fields, yes.. but surely that would be OK? Cant understand why we don't receive. all other emails on host is fine

  14. Hi!

    PHP comparison uses 2 equals not 3 (like JS). So remove one of them and let us know how it works

    hallo guys

    Happy New Year to you all

    How much effect, time and ££ will it take to reduce the slider loading time from the current 5-6 seconds, to almost instant loading? We have 10 slides, and no matter how many reduce it by, it still takes around 5 seconds to load. This is the only issue with this template, as potential clients will click off the site if the main slider doesn't load straight away. Can you please give approx costs/time etc as this is something we really need doing

    The images used in the slider are all pretty large so it's not really possible to have them all load instantly. It still takes time for each image to download.

    Hi Elliott ..

    Can you please tell me why this is not rendering in IE9, it seems to work fine in all other browsers, but just not IE9. Do you have a fix for this please? This is IE9 in Windows Vista, 7 and 8

    Missing text on all pages and enlarged "one forth" boxes as well

    Since your using a very old version you'll most likely need to update the Cufon script, http://cufon.shoqolate.com/generate/.

    Click on the download button and copy / paste the code into the cufon-yui.js file inside the theme replacing the old code.

    Are you talking about the one on top or the one on bottom?

    The one on the bottom can be removed with this,

    #footer { background: none !important; }

    Hi Guys

    We're revamping the site and have decided one a homepage, with 10 standard pages

    I have a few questions but not sure if you can help..

    1. on http://cooper.iankennyphotography.co.uk/ I would like to narrow the gaps between the 4 how it works buttons, and the image below?
    2. similarly, between the Black/Yellow HSE image and bottom border, and
    3. the gap at the bottom of the footer (Elliott, you explained this before, I cant get it to work now!)?

    Finally,

    4. on http://cooper.iankennyphotography.co.uk/new-page1.html I would like to move the right hand sidebar along (ie: leave more of space in between the main text and the right sidebar)

    Thanks in Advance!

    Add this to your CSS,

    #body_block .inner {
        padding-bottom: 0px !important;
    }
    #footer_teaser_text .inner {
        margin: 0px auto !important;
        padding: 0;
    }
    #footer .inner {
        overflow: hidden;
        padding: 0px !important;

    I've explained that before matey..

    Im basically trying to narrow the gap in between each number.. the code you gave me closes the gap at point 1, but not 2 or 3?

    So, the gap under the 4 buttons is fine but the gap under the HSE warning sign and shown on screenshot it too big, as as the gap at the bottom of the 4 column footer?

    its a CSS issue, where the template was designed. You helped me change it we first downloaded back in November 2012
