   Is it possible for me to add a button of some kind to a page that allows download of a pdf?

   You can use the [button] shortcode for this. See here for more information, http://themes.mysitemyway.com/infocus/styles/shortcodes/

   You would set the URL to your PDF like this,

   [button link = "http://www.site.com/pdfs/1.pdf']Download our PDF[/button]
