I want to be able to use featured image function on pages as well as posts. Is this possible?

    Hello fulano,

Your pages do not display in the archives so there would be no need. If your wanting an image to display at the top of your page you can use our image_frame and fancy_images shortcodes,

Need to make it simple for the client. Featured images are easy, click featured image and the image is cropped and place—done. Where can I add the featured image code?

    Hi fulano,

Unzip the framework.zip file attached to this post and then replace the following file in your inFocus theme:

    infocus/framework.php

You should now see WordPress's "Featured Image" option when you're editing/create pages now.

Let us know if this is what you were looking for.

Webtreats, thank you! Now for some reason it's repeating the images when listing posts. The single pages are good though. Please see attached image.

Send us a link to your page and we'll see if we can do a quick fix by hiding it with CSS.

    Hi fulano,

I think I see what the issue is.

Replace this new file infocus/framework.php with the new one attached to this post.

Let us know if it resolves your issue.

    [UPDATE]

This feature has just been added to all themes.

You can see the inFocus featured images for pages demo here:

  10. That link above by Webtreats does not give code for featured images when I click Get Code. I, too, want my posts (only for the interviews I do) to show up next to each post AND in the lists. Can't figure it to save my life (and yes, I've read your user manual and searched online here). I can send a screenshot if you need but there's just no featured image. I'm using the reflection image code so that looks nice for the posts, but 's not solving my problem.

    Hello NixonVirtual,

Update your theme to the latest version and your pages will have the "Featured Image" option.

  12. Elliott, I just purchased the theme 3 days ago. Why wouldn't I have the latest version??????

  13. Hold on, cowboy.

That "get the code" button just show the content for the page, the featured image is added automatically so there's nothing you need to add in the content.

Do you see the "featured image" box (below the "page attributes" box)? Have you uploaded a image and set it as featured image (notice that it's not the "inset into post" button, that one will just add the image to your post's content).

Let me know how it works now!
