Disable Slider View

  1. Disabling the slider doesn't seem to look nearly as nice for me as it does on your demo (No Slider Homepage demo).
    And the button gets all messed up, which you don't have a button on your demo, so I cannot compare.

    But your font is a nice white, whereas mine is a dark one that doesn't display nearly as nice.

    Thoughts?

    Hello IamMarix,

    So your question is how to change the call to action font correct? You can change this when editing your skin, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php?title=Creating_a_new_Skin#Intro.

  3. Well it was more along the lines of, is that supposed to happen? Because your demo without the slider looks fine. And when mine looked off, I was concerned that something was amiss. But if its just a matter of changing it in the skin, that's fine.

    Perhaps you changed the color scheme of a skin.

  5. No. I had just loaded the theme and then disabled the slider. I hadn't started modifying yet.

    Well anyways you can change it in the skin.

  7. Ok. How do you change the button text for the Get Started button only? Because that is also displaying weirdly.

    Add this in Dashboard -> your theme -> General Settings -> Custom CSS,

    .call_to_action { background-color: orange !important; }

    It takes on the color scheme of your skin so perhaps you changed the color scheme to white.

  9. Ok. So changing the "call to action" font in the Skin Manager has no effect. I've changed it to extraneous colors (bright red, etc) and see no effect. The Lipsum stays that dark grey. And when I add the CSS code, I see a brief flash of the color (in this case orange) as a box where the button is. But when the button loads, there is no hint of the color used (in this case orange).

    Go ahead and delete your skin and download a fresh copy and send us a link to your page.
