difference between fancy and frame

  1. I am using this shortcode

    [frame_left link="http://www.mexuseducation.com/alpha/?page_id=33" title="Iken Joy" alt="Iken Joy" height="180" width="180"]http://www.mexuseducation.com/alpha/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/philosophy43.jpg[/frame_left]

But seems like the height and width is not followed here while the same works when i use fancy_image shortcode... what might be problem here.

Also if i have to use a 4 column structure what should be the size of my images? and would any of the shortcode will adjust them? BTW i using space gallery plugin which is interfereing with fancy_image and galleria, doesn't display images.

    Hello terence123,

There is not much we can do about the plugin. To get your image to fit snugly in four columns try widths of 200 - 210 to see which fits.

The frame shortcodes are only meant to align an image left or right. If you want it to be a certain size then you will need to edit it that way.

Let us know if this helps terence123.

  3. thanks for quick response! The support rocks!

another question though can i nest fancy shortcode into frame shortcode? or is there any way my images auto shifts into 4 column space without using fancy_image?

What I would do is first do a fancy shortcode like this..

    [fancy_images height=120 width=190]

And fill it with four images so it takes up the whole width of the page. And then use four column shortcodes under that so it appears that they are aligned correctly..

    [one_fourth][/one_fourth] and [one_fourth_last][/one_fourth_last]

If it does not look right then you can try placing a <div style = 'clear: both;'></div> after your fancy shortcode.

In that case just place your image inside the [one_fourth] shortcode.
