    Hey, Elliott...

    For reference the site I am working on is

    I have 2 items I need assistance with in regards to the "Responsive" views.

    1. I want to not have my sidebars appear on responsive views. After reading other support posts, I have used this code on my theme's Responsive/Mobile custom CSS area:

    [code].mysite_responsive #sidebar {
    display: none !important;

    On the ipad, the text no longer appears in the sidebar, however the empty sidebar is still there. I would like to remove the sidebar completely.

    2. Is there a way to target either the iphone or ipad for certain things? After reading other support messages I have created a smaller logo to use on the iphone and have put in the correct php code and CSS. The smaller logo does appear on the iphone correctly. However, I would like the regular site logo to appear on the ipad. Right now the smaller, mobile logo is on the ipad.

    Thanks so much for your help.

    Hello CFarone,

    1. The CSS should be working fine. If you want to remove the sidebar from your source code then that would have to be considered custom work as it would take a lot of time and code.

    2. You can target the iPhone and iPad with CSS,

    .ipad .logo {  }
    .iphone .logo {  }

    Hey, Elliott...

    Unfortunately, the CSS is not working. The sidebar TEXT is gone, however the sidebar itself is still there. I need the sidebar removed completely from the mobile views.

    This is the code I am using in the Responsive/Mobile Custom CSS:
    .mysite_responsive #sidebar {
    display: none !important;

    I have attached a pdf screen shot of my iPad for reference.

    Appreciate your always.

    Hey, Elliott...

    I added the above code to the Responsive/Mobile custom CSS and the side bars are still there.

    Here is the link to the web site if that will help. You will need to look at it on an ipad to see the issue:

    To remove the sidebars it would look like this,

    .ipad #sidebar { display: none !important; }
