Custom background on each page

    I would like to make some of my page backgrounds (or it is called the "body") transparent so that the gray outer background shows and NOT the white. I tried to change it on each page with the "Custom Background" set to "Transparent" but that did not work. For my home page I have it set to transparent with this CSS

    .is_home #content { background-color: transparent !important; }

    any ideas how to do this with certain pages?

    Hello omg,

    There is a custom CSS field for each page / post which only applies to them.

    Just scroll down when editing the page.

  4. This was so easy!

    What's the best way to also remove the #content border still visible by the edge shadows?

    Tried the following with no effect:

    (setting the border-radius to 0px)
    #content {
    -webkit-border-radius: 0px;
    -moz-border-radius: 0px;
    border-radius: 0px; !important; }

    (setting the border-radius to "none")
    #content {
    -webkit-border-radius: none;
    -moz-border-radius: none;
    border-radius: none; !important; }

    Add this,

    #outro, #content, #slider_module, #intro { box-shadow: none !important; }

  7. Elliott... well, I thought it was perfect.

    However, today I noticed that the Image Banner on this page has no shadow applied; similarly, I plan to have smaller white sheets for displaying the elements as shown, and I will need to make sure they can have similar shadowing attributes. (see attached; I've also attached samples from other pages to compare to how it should be - the page affected is the one with the image header named Video proFile™ page)

    Can you help me by defining what code I need to add to perhaps correct what may have been knocked out by the earlier code you gave me?

    Thanks so much.

    The box shadow is the shadow on those parts and was what I thought you were wanting to remove. If you don't want to remove it then delete the code you used from my last post.

  10. actually, I combined them to be applied only within #content, and that's exactly what I wanted:

    #content { background-color: transparent !important; box-shadow: none !important; }

    so, in other words, the image banner still has the shoadow now, as does the outro, but the body content is just background without borders.

    Thanks, Elliott.

    I've tried this code in the Custom CSS and on the page and it is not working:

    Also tried installing Supersized plug in but all it did was put a slide show in the website background. I still can't get the particular page to be transparent.
