CSS Edits: Changes made in Appearance>[theme]>Edit>Style.css Do Not Work

resolved (2 posts) (2 voices)

  1. Trying to make adjustments to the menu position. Originally I made (and saved) changes in style.css (using the WP editor).

While the editr show the style.css is changed, the actual page does not reflect those changes.

When I make the changes in "Custom CSS", the changes do get reflected on the page.

Should we make adjustments in Custom CSS rather than editing Style.css directly?

    Hello dsbrooks,

Yes, you should always do CSS edits in the custom CSS field.
