Creating a blog with specific categories

Is there a way to specify for the blog page to include only posts that are in both Category A and Category B?

I have used the shortcode editor and created a page the displays posts in either Category A OR Category B - but what I'd like is to only display posts that are in BOTH Categories, rather than either/or.

Elliot - I am using the blog shortcode - the problem is when I choose more than one category to be displayed, it will list posts listed in either/or those categories. I am wanting to specify that only posts listed in BOTH categories be listed.

For example - I am using posts to list types of wines. I have categories for 'Red Wines' and 'Dry Wines' and 'White Wines', etc. What I want to show up on the page are posts that are categories with both 'red wines' AND 'dry wines' - as it stands now, some of the 'dry wines' are also white wines - so don't belong on the page listing Dry Red Wines.

Does that make sense? I want to create interchangeable results using different combinations of the categories.

We can edit the blog shortcode to do that but it would make it unflexible (it would display the same stuff no matter where you use it).

What I would do is just create a new category and assign it to posts that are a part of red wine & dry wine.
