I am thinking of creating a photo gallery on a separate HTML page. But I want it to maintain the same look as the Infocus theme. So, I would need to copy or re-create the header & footer on that page. is that hard to do? Is there an easy way to do it? The photo gallery elements on that page aren't designed to incorporate into Wordpress so it has to be its own stand alone html page.

    Hello flightlineaviationme,

Are you using the HTML/CSS version? If you are then there shouldn't be any problem with adding the gallery into one of the pages.

No, my site is the wordpress version. Its all built in wordpress. But this gallery page can't be, it is html. So I am wondering what considerations there are for mixing wordpress and html on a website, and is it as simple as just copying the header/footer. Also, the html gallery page is made to be responsive, so would my header & footer still be responsive if I just copied it onto that page.

Its kind of hard to describe...but what I would do is take this page:

And somehow add my header and footer so that it looks like all my other pages built in wordpress.

Well you can still add HTML to your pages in Wordpress. Switch to the HTML editor and paste the code.
