Content (text) will not save to Homepage.

   I cannot save text in the content box of the Homepage. The "visual" tab will not engage either. When I write text in the content box and "click save all changes," then refresh the homepage to see my work on the website, the screen is blank because the text does not actually save on the homepage. Can anyone help me resolve this issue? (Content does save to other pages though.) Thank you.
