Contact Form 7 doesn't work in sidebars

   I'm running Awake 1.3 with enough tweaks to want to avoid an upgrade. Latest version of Contact Form 7 installed. All other plugins deactivated. Having a problem with forms showing up in the widget areas.

   Contact Form shows up on the homepage widget area, but when I move the exact same module to the primary widget area, all that shows is the code: "[contact-form-7 id="229" title="Contact form 1"]"

   Confused on why it works one area, but not the other.... Any ideas?

   Hello egbertandbarnes,

   Try adding this in your functions.php file,

   add_filter('widget_text', 'do_shortcode');

   Thanks - I went to load the code, and its already in there!

   Any other ideas?

   If possible send us a link to your site so we can take a closer look.

   I think that syntax is only in version 3.0. Are you sure you have CF7 3.0 installed and activated?
