    Hello anjaonline,

Do you mean your wanting to edit the shortcodes.css file in your child theme as well? You can use the !important rule to overwrite any CSS in the child themes style.css file.

I want to edit the shortcode.css without touching the original. Does that mean that, the style.css overwrites the shortcode.css? My idea was, I have to create a special childtheme-css for the shortcode.css. Tried this and didn't work - therefore my post here.

No but you can add your own CSS in the child theme style.css file like explained above.
