Changing Plugin Display Location

  1. I've recently added social buttons using the "Share This" plugin. As it is now there are four buttons that get placed automatically at the bottom of each blog post. This is all fine, but I'm curious about placing them up higher. My first choice would be to place them just below the "Posted by comments" area between the dividers, but I would settle for having them at the very top.

    I've attached a screenshot of what I'd like to accomplish.

    Is this something that I can do by altering the inFocus code, or is this a function only controlled by the plugin itself?

    Thanks!

    Hello Mike,

    It would depend on how the plugin is working. It looks like it is using some action hooks so we'll probably have to resort to using CSS.

    Like the code I gave you before you can position them like so,

    .st_facebook_buttons { position: absolute; top: 50px; right: 50px; }

    And then repeat for the other buttons.

    That didn't work, or at least it didn't work the way I tried to insert the code you provided. I ended up placing different code in the template-single.php file. That seemed to do the trick.

    Thanks for trying to help.
