Changing color of #body_inner while maintaining transparent background

  1. Hi,

    I am using SoftLights skin with the Elegance theme and with the standard settings the background pattern is showing through both the background and the #body_inner area, which I like.

    I would like to change the color of the #body_inner area but to still have the background pattern still showing through.

    I tried adding the following to Custom CSS:

    #body_inner {
    background-image:url(soft_lights/soft_lights_fullbg.png);
    background-color:#33F;
    background-repeat:repeat-x;
    background-attachment:scroll;
    background-position:center top; !important;}

    But this just changes the color of the #body_inner area to a solid blue (#33F) color.

    Is there a way I could maintain the background pattern, but to add a transparent color over it?

    You'll need to create a transparent png image and set it to the body_inner background. If you want it to be blue then you can create the image to be blue and partially transparent.
