Changes to skin won't save

I edited my current skin, basically just changing the size of the body font. When I try to save the changes to the skin, I just get the spinning clock and the changes don't apparently save as I don't see any changes on the site. Any ideas as to why I can't edit and save the skin?

    Hello Sonic,

Make sure the following is set to 777 permissions,

    /wp-content/themes/[your_theme]/styles/

And then create a new skin, edit it, and save to see if it works correctly.

You'll need to use an FTP client such as Filezilla, https://filezilla-project.org/. Or contact your hosting provider and see if they have a web based editor you can use.

I'm having a similar problem. Actually, inside the skin settings it shows the menu font color I want, but the original color is what displays on the site. I temporarily set permissions to 777, made the change again, saved. Reloaded page. Refreshed browser. No change. Now what?

Hi, Elliott. I'm having a similar issue. When I edit, then save a skin, the little "wait" wheel to the left just spins and spins. When I check the changes, they're not there. The only thing I can do is keep saving as a new skin, then activate that new one and proceed. Lots of edits, makes for lots of new skins. I have this issue with another MySiteMyWay template on another hosting server, so I'm thinking it's not a permissions setting.

Is this something that's been solved?

Changed permissions as suggested, then created new skin and clicked on Save As New Skin. The "wait" wheel spun and spun (see image attached). When I tried to select the new skin, it didn't show under Choose a Skin. When I selected Manage Skins, there it was.

I logged all the way out of WordPress and when I returned the new skin was there, so I could activate it.

Still cannot save edits without following the Save As New Skin routine I outlined above.

Make sure your using the latest version and deactivate all plugins.

Also check your server error logs to see if there is any useful information there.

All Plugins deactivated. What's the best way to make sure I'm using the latest version of the Persuasion theme?
