Change main background colour of a page with custom css

  1. Hi guys

    I need to change the rear background colour of individual pages. I've tried this code in custom css but its changing the colour of the content background.

    #content { background-color: #00437F }

    It's the outer background color I want to change not the inner where the content lies. Know what I mean?

    Also,

    I want to remove the default footer on individual pages and add a custom footer. Can you help me with that too please?

    If you just want to hide it we can use CSS and you can insert some other content in the page. Otherwise you would need to edit the footer.php file on line 24 and add your other content in there.

    Add this to your custom CSS.

    #footer { display: none !important; }
