Change default menu to mega menu

   Hi,

   I would like to change the default menu for this theme to a large flyout "megamenu". I am more than comfortable making changes to the HTML/CSS & JS where needed to accomplish this. However I am not quite sure what I would need to do regarding Wordpress side to achieve this. I have very little Wordpress knowledge as I normally use MODx for any CMS type work. I'm assuming they are not a million miles apart though.

   First of all is this possible and can you point me in the right direction if it is please?

   Hi mtwallet,
   you need to know that inFocus uses the wp_list_pages() function to generate the menu.
   The problem is that you don't have that much control over the outputs because is mostly auto-generated by wordpress, but you should be able to tweak it using some of the options available.
   Here you can read all about wp_list_pages:

   wp_list_pages in called near the end of the wp-content\themes\infocus\header.php file.

   Alternatively, you could hard-code the navigation using raw html code. This won't be a CMS-like thing to do, but it will give you 100% control.

   Hey Raspo, did you ever get Mega Menu working w/InFocus or did you decide on another solution? I'm also considering this configuration, but I'd love to hear how ease/difficult this project was... Thx!

   I recommend using a plugin, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php/CSS_Mega_Menus. There are a few others out there you can try out as well.

   Thanks Elliot, I've read that article and it appears to be very easy to configure. Do you by chance have a website who has done this integration? I've looked thru the user showcase and all the forums...

   Jackpot! This was done on the Dejavu theme, but I think ther menu system is virtually the same as Awake(?)...
