Using in-focus, we created a custom menu widget on the page
    http://mnap.us/oncology/

and our menu looks significantly different than yours.

    Yours looks like jquery tabs

How do we create a menu like that

    thanks in advance

    Hi zdorovie,

It looks like you've added a second menu to your template (see the attached screenshot).

If you remove this second menu your sites menu should look exactly like ours.

    Hi zdorovie,

I misunderstood your original question. That is actually our feature tour template.

To create the feature tour layout select "Feature Tour" as the template for all the following pages:

    What Is Radiation Therapy?
    What to Expect?
    Chemotherapy
    Oncology Team
    Oncology Gallery

The "tabs" will be auto-generated for you.

See the screenshot below for where this template option is located.

  6. Is there any online documentation for the Feature Tour template? I've searched these forums and am not finding anything. I would like to remove the tabs from http://nixonvs.com/virtual-assistance/ and have them look like the Feature Tour page instead but don't know how to structure.

I tried using the example you gave above, using Infocus WORDPRESS, but if I take the following tabs:
    PRICING
    TRAVEL
    QUALIFICATIONS
    SERVICES
    TERMS
and put them into the Feature Tour tab, there's no link on the main page to these pages here http://nixonvs.com/virtual-assistance/ It seems if this page isn't under a Parent page, it doesn't become a Feature Tour page - it's just blank. ????

I'll read through documentation, just point me to it if it exists. :)

  7. Ok, I did some sample pages so now you'll have a visual. I figured out how to get the pages how I want them. HOWEVER, again, problem with Infocus WordPress pages shifting. When you click through the pages in the menu, they shift a little to the left or right. What is up with that? All browsers - Chrome, IE and Firefox.

    The pages are here: http://nixonvs.com/virtual-assistance/welcome/

I'm not seeing any indenting. Take a screenshot and highlight what your referring to so we can get a better idea.

  9. Sigh. Elliott, If you click on each menu item on the left, every single page moves a little to the left or right.

Anybody, please click through and confirm that you can easily see what I am referring to. I can screenshot all the pages but as still images you can't see what I am talking about. I can video the screen as I click through if that would be preferable....

In your screenshot they are not indenting so I'm not sure what's going on.

They are not indenting on my end at all either. What browser / device are you using?

  11. Firefox, Chrome, IE. So you're telling me that when you are on this page: http://nixonvs.com/virtual-assistance/welcome/

And then you click on Rates, and then Travel, and Services and Qualifications you don't see the movement on every single page?

Of course you can't see movement on a static image...

  12. Hang on; I asked another poster in our forums to take a look and post the findings here.

  13. Also, I just noticed that the sidebar is not showing although it's set. Are these pages not allowed to have sidebar widgets show??

    Hello

I did click through the tabs on the link that was provided and i didn't see any shifting of the menu items/tabs in any browser i used. However it has been my experience, when items move or shift it is the CSS file that needs close attentions.

  15. True, Jake, but I can't fix what anyone else claims not to see. I'll take a screen video and post it here so you can see what I see. Thanks for taking a look. 3 others sent me PM's that they see what I am seeing but didn't post it here.

Go ahead and take a screenshot of the whole screen. It looks a bit weird in your video.

  19. I already sent you the screenshot above and you couldn't see it in a still photo so I sent video. You can clearly see from the video that I put a Post-It to the left to show where the alignment changes as you click through the tabs.

    Posted 3 years ago #
  20. I mean, even if the video isn't crystal clear you can clearly see where the left margin is not aligned with the Post-It on every click of a tab...

  21. Ok, I reinstalled the theme fresh (version 3.4) as you suggested here [http://mysitemyway.com/support/topic/share-this-post-1#post-144544] and unfortunately it's the same issue. I believe it may have something to do with padding because as long as every single tab has the same information, it's fine. But if I use fancy boxes and headings, then it's the same problem.

    So what now?

    Posted 3 years ago #
  22. Ok, I figured it out if anyone else ever has this problem and needs assistance quickly.

The problem occurs when the pages are not full. Apparently something that makes the footer not sit flush at the bottom of the page when the page doesn't have a lot of text.

So I have to come up with more content just to fill the pages in order for Feature Tour pages to lay out properly.

    You're welcome everyone. Solved, finally...
