Can not remove featured image

   Hello,

   I added a featured image and then tried to remove it, but it won't go away. I enabled 'Enable Auto Featured Image Selection' so I could see the link to remove it, but it is still visible on the rendered page...

   Also, I added a sidebar per the documentation and then in the widgets added a 'text' widget to that sidebar with a link to an image file <img src="" but nothing show up? I tried just plain text and also a few other widgets and nothing appears in the sidebar?

   Hello sha66y,

   That doesn't appear to be a featured image. It's most likely an image inside your post content that you need to delete. As for the sidebar I'm not seeing anything in your source code which is odd. Have you done any customizations?

   I was able to remove the image - not sure how hit inserted itself there.

   The real issue is I can't get a 'text' widget to appear in the sidebar. I think this could be because I'm not using the right template but can only select from default, feature tour and sitemap. I've no idea how to get the 20+ templates I read when I bought it. I read some other posts about how the theme somehow makes these available based on what page your building, but that's beyond me I'm afraid.

   I would like to know how to get the sidebar working on the default template or be able to select a template that allows for it.

   We have a left sidebar, right sidebar, and full width layouts available which you can switch between when editing your post, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php?title=Page_Options#Sidebar_Layout

   Hi Elliott,

   I can only see the templates I referred to (default, feature tour and sitemap) and whether or not it;s a page or a post, the custom sidebar I created is not displaying on the rendered page. I will pm you with admin login rights so you can see.
