Hello,
I would like to ask you about the Buddypress support. We are going to setting up a Buddypress because of the community functions. Do you plan a buddypress support/version of awake theme?
Thank you in advance,
Peter

Hi Peter,
There is no support for that at the moment, but we might consider it for the future.

More thoughts on this? I've created a BP child theme for awake if anyone is interested.
Hello ubsolutions,
We have an update in the works with buddypress support for our new framework (infocus / awake 2.0 + other themes). But if you want to share your child theme then that would be great.
Hi all,
Our team was really hoping to see BuddyPress compatibility for the infocus theme.
Has anyone figured something out for this?
Elliott, would you be able to hint at a timeline for this update? We love your themes and support, but this feature is essential!
Buddypress should still work okay with our framework calliepak. In a future update we will be adding some styling changes to make it look better with our framework. I can't give any dates for sure when it will be added though.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but when I try to use BuddyPress on my Infocus template, all I get is a huge list of what I can only assume should have been a floating menu below the footer of my pages. Any idea why this is happening?
I think what you are seeing is the buddypress menu bar. You can hide this in the buddypress settings or load the default css for it to display at the top.
Calliepak, you need to copy over the BuddyPress template files (Activity, Members, Groups, Forums) to your themes directory. If you prefer to avoid code you can download this plugin and it will do most of the work for you.
Hi ubsolutions and Elliott,
This is great so far, however I've hit a bump.
The plug-in wants me to change the HTML format of some of the Buddypress files. I'm just worried I dont quite understand the basic structure of the infocus "page.php" file.
For instance, the BuddyPress files are all coded to this format:
---------------------------------------------------
[HEADER]
<div id="container">
<div id="content">
[PAGE CONTENT]
</div>
<div id="sidebar">
[SIDEBAR CONTENT]
</div>
</div>
[FOOTER]
---------------------------------------------------
What is the format that "page.php" is structured?
Thanks again for all your help, and after this I think I should be good to go!
It looks like infocus uses <div id="content"> and <div id="sidebar"> which should work. What issues are you having?
Any news on a Buddypress integration for Elegance? Or at least a Buddypress child theme? Im stuck
We are still working on the styling here and there but it will most likely be added in the next update fjbengoa.
Great! Can you tell me when you expect to launch your next update?
Thank you!
Not sure but expect it to be soon.
Elliott, any update on the update? :)
Really looking forward to some BuddyPress integration.
Not sure yet Foppa, if you'd like to help us test it out send me a PM.
Hello everyone,
Buddypress v1.5 recently came out and they did a great job with it. They made a switch to use Wordpress pages so we put up a quick tutorial on integrating it with our themes,

Let us know if you see any issues.
[UPDATE]
We now have free BuddyPress child themes available for all our Mysitemyway WordPress Themes.
