Breadcumbs problem in Portfolio

   Hi,
   I have a problem : in my portfolio, the breadcrumbs works perfectly except in the portfolio single page.
   For example, if I am in the CLIP category, the breadcrumbs display ;

   Home / Creations / Clips
   (URL : http://occamstudio.fr/creations/clips)

   But if I click on a clip to display the single page (with the video or photos, the breadcrumbs is :

   Home / MyClip (name of the video)
   (URL : http://occamstudio.fr/portfolio/myclip)

   Is it possible to fix that ? Thanks
   I would like that shows Home / Creations / Clips / MyClip

   Hello lycosxy,

   You have a maintenance plugin up. If possible then PM us a Wordpress login so we can take a closer look at your setup.

   Hi,
   I have the same problem.
   I set permalink as /%postname%/ but when I clicked on a picture in my homepage, it showed "Home / Hello world! / Arvil Lavigne @ Disney". How could I make it show like this "Home / Categories / Item".
   The breadcumb seemed to follow whatever page I clicked on.

   Hi Elliott,
   I don't have any plug in concern to the breadcumb or permalink. I have reset my permalink option to default though.

   If you click a random item on my homepage, http://ilovered.net/ you'll see the different from click an random item in this page http://ilovered.net/accessories/.

   Then, after you're in a single page, scroll down to the Latest product, click on it, you'll see the breadcum appears as "Home / Arvil Lavigne @ Disney / Midu 2" <- which is "Home/ the title of the previous item / the title of item you just clicked" <- this is wrong.

   It's supposed to appear as "Home / Categories / Item" <- this is what I'm trying to do.

   Are those a custom post type? What ecommerce plugin are you using?

   i am not using any ecommerce plug in, Elliott. They are regular portfolio post, not a blog post.
   I have attached a list of plug in I'm using. No custom work has been done. (sorry I couldn't attach full image because of the size)

   I have the same problem.

   I created a page wich containts the shortcode to display portfolio items, the breadcrumb of the page its "Home / Portfolio /" but once you clicked the portfolio item the breadcrumb turns into "Home / %postname% /" instead "Home / Portfolio / %postname% "

   Note. I dont have any Plugins.

    For the portfolio posts we have a custom taxonomy setup so even if you display it in the breadcrumbs it won't display in the archives when you click on it.

    We set the parent of the portfolio item there so the user can go back to the portfolio page and view the others in the same "portfolio" category.

    @Daflon, Send us a link and we'll take a look. Also let us know what permalink structure you have setup.

    Elliott, what did you mean by this "We set the parent of the portfolio item there so the user can go back to the portfolio page and view the others in the same "portfolio" category."? Is there anyway to customize the breadcumb the way I wanted?

    For the portfolio posts the breadcrumb should be displaying like this,

    Home / Portfolio Page where your using the shortcode / Title of your portfolio post

    The second link will take you back to your portfolio page so you can view all of the other portfolio posts with the same category.

    You can disable the breadcrumbs when editing your post and insert your own by using the "Custom Raw HTML" intro options, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php?title=Post_Options#Intro_Options.

    When you are in the portfolio post "the Portfolio Page where your using the shortcode is missing".

    Hi Elliott,
    I'm trying to make my breadcumb like this "Home / Categories / Item"
    NOT "Home / Page where I'm using the shortcode / Title of my portfolio post".
    -> because your option doesn't work well when it's on the homepage. It picked up the single blog post which is totally out of my intention.

    Are you allow to help us customize the breadcumb? It is not something that's included on this theme but if we look at the other side, this theme doesn't work very well with custom permalink either.
    If you could help, i would really appreciate it. You have been always very helpful.

    When used on the homepage it should be doing this,

    "Home / Title of post"
