blog post image and related post thumbnail issue?

   I'm having problems with what seems to be the image resizing scripts on the blog post page, I'm only able to see a loading spinning circle and in the sidebar I see a broken thumbnail or placeholder image area.
   I have read extensively through the forums, contacted my host and re-downloaded the timthumb script as well as checked all permissions. I'm running out of ideas.

   the InFocus popup that is accessed on the toolbar when adding a new page or post is throwing a 404 error also. could these issues be related?

   Hello snapkrakelpop,

   Your resize script is giving me a 404,

   http://absoluteimagenew.spitball.ca/wp-content/themes/infocus/lib/scripts/thumb.php

   Are you hosting with HostGator by chance? Try getting in contact with your host and ask if there are a certain combination of permissions that you need.

   nope, I'm hosted with JustHost. I contacted them as well and they're looking into the issue, if you look at the directory - the file is there: http://absoluteimagenew.spitball.ca/wp-content/themes/infocus/lib/scripts/
   but if i click on it, I also am getting a 404 error... I'm baffled.

   Make sure that the /scripts/ and /scripts/cache/ directory have sufficient permissions also. Your hosting provider should be able to get it worked out.

   with no luck from my host; I've gone ahead with a fresh install of a previous (3.1) wordpress version (I was using v 3.1.2) and a fresh install of the theme. I now am able to see thumbnails, and blog-post images without having to upload various sizes of the same image, the button to launch the InFocus shortcodes window is no longer throwing a 404 error and things are working as expected.
   Thank you for your prompt replies and assistance. This is a beautiful theme :) Great work!
