Blog Entry Unintentially showing on Homepage

   I recently started having an issue with the most recent Blog post Podcast started showing on the bottom of the home page. Is there a way to fix this from showing up here?

   Website is: http://www.johnstownchristian.org

   Raspo,

   I found a blog post on BluBrry showing how you can work around the Theme related issue. They state it is a problem with the theme. See blog at:

   http://forum.blubrry.com/index.php?topic=2373.0

   Long term, I would like to see this fixed in the Theme. Not sure what needs to be done here. If you need me to set it back to show it is broken then let me know.

   Hi mthiel,
   you are using the Blubrry PowerPress Podcasting plugin, right?

   You get that issue because the content in the homepage of Awake is actually a blog post.

   PM me the user & pass to your WP dashboard and your phpMyAdmin and I'll try to find a solution.

    I made some changes in the index.php file to disable the plugin for that page only.

    Is it ok now?

    Hi. I'm having a similar problem, it appears to be grabbing the most recent podcast and putting it on the "Custom Homepage Text" I am also using the Powerpress Plugin. is there a way to strip that out in home.php or something?

    Well, belay that, it's coming and going. Sometimes the powerpress player shows, other times it doesn't. I guess I could use a little help here.
