I've recently built a site using Awake 2.3 and when I view the website in IE 8 there are display problems with the background and the footer. The background (using the default theme) doesn't go all of the way across the screen and only goes down about 1/3 of the way on the main screen. This is independent if I am viewing my own site I built or the one hosted at: http://themes.mysitemyway.com/awake/
When I scroll down the page the background has lines all through it. When I go to the foot and I hover over any of the icons boxes show up around the links and stay there until i move the mouse outside of the footer area. All of the content within the actual page seems to be fine and working properly. The only issue is the background which looks horrible as a result and the footer. I have tested the same site (my own and the http://themes.mysitemyway.com/awake/) on IE 9 which works fine, iPad works fine, Safari works fine, HP Slate works fine. It just seems IE 8 is the issue and I've tried on 3 different IE 8 computers. If anyone has seen this issue or anyone can offer help it would be great as there are still a lot of people on IE8 out there!
Thanks!
