Archive shows "nothing found" despite present posts

  1. Hi guys,

I am not sure if this falls into your "realm", but perhaps you can help. I have a category called "erfahrungen", but when I load that archive page, I get a "nothing found" message, although there are 11 posts in that category.

I have posted a long debug .mht file zipped to http://www.vuvu.co.za/awake-helmar.zip, because I am totally stumped. The queries run successfully and extract the 11 posts, but the search result is negative. How is that possible?

    Hello helmar,

Let us know which version of Awake you are using and if possible send us a link to your archive page so we can take a closer look.

Are you using a translate plugin such as WPML or QTranslate? If so then it could be that you need to translate the posts for them to display in that specific category.

  3. Hi Elliott,

first of all - and never repeated often enough - THANK YOU for this sterling support.

    1. http://www.mrmasterkey.com/erfahrungen - the "themen" slug was removed by Yoast SEO plugin
    2. Those plugins aren't active . I did, however, translate awake.pot, which is why the strings show up in German. :)

PS: Wenn jemand hier ist, der Awake in Deutsch haben will, möge er sich über die obige Webseite bei mir melden.

Try deactivating all of your plugins to see if this fixes it. If your still having issues then PM us a Wordpress login and let us know if we can deactivate plugins while testing.

  5. Hi Elliott,

tried deactivating all plugins on my local dev machine, but nothing changed. In fact, even with all plugins enabled, the "Debug Bar" plugin's very first query...

    SELECT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS wp_posts.* FROM wp_posts INNER JOIN wp_term_relationships ON (wp_posts.ID = wp_term_relationships.object_id) WHERE 1=1 AND ( wp_term_relationships.term_taxonomy_id IN (14) ) AND wp_posts.post_type = 'post' AND (wp_posts.post_status = 'publish' OR wp_posts.post_status = 'private') GROUP BY wp_posts.ID ORDER BY wp_posts.post_date DESC LIMIT 0, 10

pasted into my SQL Frontend, returned 10 rows of correct results. What is happening on the backend side that triggers the "nothing found" message? That's what I would like to know.

    Cheers,

    Helmar
