Adding classes to the Call to Action Button

    I want to activate an opt-in form inside a pop-up lightbox when the user clicks on the Call to Action button (rather than linking to another page). I am using Pippity for the pop-up. They told me that in order to activate the pop-up by a link, I need to add the following class to the link. (with "#" being a reference to a unique pop-up ID granted through their system, which I already know.)

    This Shows Popup 1

    Can you let me know how to adjust the code to achieve this?

    Ooops forgot the code markup. <a class='pty_click pty_id_1' href="#">This Shows Popup 1</a>

    Hello rachelcost,

    You can find the call to action button in /wp-content/themes/infocus/lib/functions/theme.php somewhere around line 675,

    $home_text .= '<a class="button_link call_to_action alignright" href="' . esc_url( $btn_link ) . '"><span>' . stripslashes( $teaser_button_text ) . '</span></a>';

    Thank you! It worked. The call to action button now loads a Pippity pop-up.

    You can check it out here: http://brandingsalon.com/

    Very cool rachelcost, is that a plugin you are using? If so would you mind posting a link? I can get a tutorial up for everyone in case they would want to do the same.

    Btw your site is looking very nice. I just wanted to point this out for everyone in case they didn't know but when your using one of our featured skins (any skin actually) you can change the color scheme using our skin generator. http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php?title=Editing_a_Skin

    So for example if your using the grunge style and you do not like the default "peach" color you can easily change it to grey, blue, etc etc, without editing any images.

    It is a Wordpress plugin called Pippity. Their site is at http://pippity.com

    They have great customer service, and a terrific user interface for creating popups that auto-pop based on time or page-views. I asked if the popup could just be based on a button click which is not yet a standard option in the plugin, and they gave me instructions plus that special code to add to the button.
