Adding a standard blog to my Elegance template

   Gentlemen,

   I'm trying to locate how I can build a blog page into the site. I have all of my pages ready and just wanted to add a "Blog" link in the navigation and then have it function within the site as a normal blog would - all other pages would be as-is (no blog/comments on any other page).

   Please advise - and thanks for such a fantastic service and template! I'll be working with Mysitemyway exclusively from now on!

   Hello bishope,

   You can setup your blog page in Dashboard -> your theme -> Blog, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php?title=Blog.

   You can also create additional blog pages with our blog shortcodes, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php?title=Blog_Shortcode.

   Make sure to read over the documentation.

   Thanks, Elliot - I read over the documentation, but I'm not clear whether the Archives, Categories, Blogroll, etc., will appear on the right side like I want it to...the example I'm thinking about is here: http://centerforexecutivecoaching.wordpress.com/

   I have assigned the blog to my blog page in the theme, and I can see my test posts, but I do not see the Archives, Categories, or a place to put a blogroll - I am sorry if I've overlooked this in the docs . . .

   My blog is here: http://leadingfromcenter.com/wordpress/?page_id=79 - I wanted to have the archives, blogroll, categories, etc. to the right...again, sorry if I missed the documentation on how to set that up within Elegance.

   It also appears that the "Popular Posts" under the "Read More" link for each post only works/shows up when you mouseover them? Is that by design?

   So your wanting a right sidebar to display on your blog page correct? You can change this when editing your page, http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php?title=Page_Options#Sidebar_Layout.

   Make sure to read over the documentation.
