I've searched the forum for an answer but can't seem to find one. I have infocus v2.5 and am trying to fix this formating issue. The left side of the contact form runs out of of space and you can see that the captcha box finishes on the next line. I've tried to change the size in the contact 7 form itself but it doesn't seem to pick up the formating. Is there a CSS style that is causing this? (I'm not too familiar with CSS) but can find the code if you point me in the right direction. Thanks much!

I'm using the Awake theme and designing a website where I want people to see a front page when they go to the site, but it's not a home page. I tried making a different page and in settings telling it to be the front page, but then the Awake theme settings automatically see that as the home page, and I don't want that. I don't want the slider on it, I want the slider on my homepage still though. So like for instance the page they first get to will be a page with our logo very large on it, and the navigation bar at the top. But when they click on the logo, then they are taken to the home page with the slider, and the other features that the homepage settings in the awake theme allow. Hopefully this makes sense. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Has anyone here done this yet? If not, would anyone like me to post my findings as I start to config bbpress for infocus?

However, comments are not displaying. I tried to enable comments on another page, but they also did not display there. Am I missing some kind of site-wide configuration that is overruling the per page enablement or is this a bug?

When attempting to install v2.8 from within WP, I get the error message above ["Are you sure...] when the upload reaches 100%. Manually installing via FTP fails to update (theme says 2.3); no change. Files do load into the wp-themes/infocus directory. Manually copying all files (overwrite) via ftp kills the entire site.

I have had a couple of sites hacked through the timthumb script being compromised, and nee dto know if TimThumb is used in Awake 1.3, and if so what I need to do to make it secure. Awake themes are selected in the Awake panel. But what if I have a WP child theme and therefore the CSS files in that directory rather than in the Awake theme directory? How can I activate my MrMasterKey.css without placing it in awake/styles? In other words: can I use my custom theme within my WP child theme folder or do I have to place the MrMasterKey.css and the related images in the /awake/styles folder, which makes the point of having a WP child theme a bit moot. :) Helmar

I have translated awake.pot via Poedit and saved it as de_DE.mo in Awake's language folder. Ich habe Awake ins Deutsche übersetzt. Es muss als de_DE.mo in themes\awake\languages gespeichert werden. However, Awake is not perfectly localized, as there are many hard-coded strings in framework.php, and theme.php, just to menion a few. Leider ist Awake nicht optimal vorbereitet, denn es gibt noch etliche englische Zeichenketten, die sich in framework.php und theme.php befinden, aber auch in anderen Dateien. This is particularly true for date strings. Das trifft insbesondere auf Datumsanzeigen zu. I have included the de_DE.mo file in an attachment, but also my date changes in theme.php and _hidden.php, plus changed the "Search" to "Suchen" in framework.php. It would be nice if a future version of Awake was cleaner as far as localisation strings are concerned, especially when it comes to the display format of dates. Ich habe die de_DE.mo Datei angehängt, aber auch die Datumsformatänderungen in theme.php und _hidden.php, und "Search" auf "Suchen" in framework.php geändert. Enjoy! Helmar

I know that Persuasion lets me "Automatically Create Slides from Blog Categories". This is a great feature because it lets me put slideshow creation into the hands of authors instead of just administrators. However, on our site, it makes no sense for a slideshow item to point to a blog post. Posts just are not where its at for us. Is there any way to tweak this feature so that it looks at pages instead? Maybe all pages that are present on a separate "Slideshow" menu? Or pages that have a particular bit of custom "slideshow" metadata? Long term it would be nice if the theme added an "include in slideshow" option to the "persuasion general page options," but I'm interested in some tweaking for the short term. Any thoughts on where to poke or whether this is way more tangled than tweaking can resolve?

Hello. He assures me that he hasn't made any tweaks or touched anything. I left this portfolio working a few months ago (while 1.6 was still out). I've tried deactivating all plugins, and all the updates are final except for the theme's. Please, we don't need to update the theme unless its absolutely necessary, because there are some tweaks done in the code that'll be lost in that case. If possible, let me know of a solution that is viable for version 1.6. Thank you so much. AJ

Hi, I'm currently using serveral WP-Awake combinations on serveral hosting providers. So far I have no idea what is the best, stable combination regarding speed. Please advice on what you all think is the best combination / setup, with it's pros and cons. What is the general experience with the upgrade of the Awake theme regarding shortcodes.
