I don't know of any way to do that. You would probably have to setup a redirect and that would have to be consdiered custom work.

That's the only custom CSS area. You can also edit the skin stylesheets in Dashboard -> your theme -> Skin as well but I recommend using the custom CSS field.

I looked into that, and I just can't seem to find the plug-in that does what I need. So is there not a way to tell the Awake theme which page you want to be the home page, and still have wordpress use a different page for a front page (landing page) ?

nevermind ... the buggy part must have been something we changed to the page.php. I have uploaded the page.php file to the original... all works good now. Thanks

thanks... kinda buggy but will do for now. when I click only some of the submenus (branding design or webdesign) the menu jumps (reloads). Clicking the Print Communications link works fine.

If you still wish to stick with 1.3 then you will need to update a bunch of scripts including cufon, prettyPhoto, and the timthumb resize script which you can find in <code>/wp-content/themes/awake/lib/scripts/thumb.php</code>. Yes. (see new SC) The SC from my previous message show's what the happens when I add the class 'textfield' to the email field in 'CSS Class Name' in the form editor under Advanced. you can see it isn't styling correctly. But as I said, everything seems to be fine on the site that's using Awake and the jQuery script, even though they are the same form (the local site with the problem is simply a retheming of the live site, so has the same DB content etc). As an aside however, I really think a solution like the jQuery script is vastly superior as adding these classes to very field on every form on every website is a rather unpleasant prospect to say the least.

I'm using the Awake theme and designing a website where I want people to see a front page when they go to the site, but it's not a home page. I tried making a different page and in settings telling it to be the front page, but then the Awake theme settings automatically see that as the home page, and I don't want that. I don't want the slider on it, I want the slider on my homepage still though. So like for instance the page they first get to will be a page with our logo very large on it, and the navigation bar at the top. But when they click on the logo, then they are taken to the home page with the slider, and the other features that the homepage settings in the awake theme allow. Hopefully this makes sense. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I was looking to access the custom.css to make some additional mods and would like more space to work with than what's provided in the admin area of the theme :) Can custom.css be accessed from within the wp editor Appearance > Editor? Many thanks, Ken

I am using Awake 1.3 (issues with plugins prevented upgrade to v2. I have had a couple of sites hacked through the timthumb script being compromised, and nee dto know if TimThumb is used in Awake 1.3, and if so what I need to do to make it secure. Hopefully it does not. Thanks for your swift response

close... works for 2 of my subpages... but clicking print communications still closes the submenu. maybe I should just have the sub menu stay open by default?
